'Nobody' is a bilingual play written by Evan Placey and Ko Sun Duck. Inspired by the thoughts, feelings and experiences of teenagers in both the UK and South Korea, Nobody explores the separate but intertwined stories of two fifteen year olds, William and Ji-young.
Though living far apart and from different cultures, they share difficulties with their families, the anger of two young people living in a world that feels like it is falling apart, and a desire to disappear.
Excitingly an extract of Nobody will be performed at the On The Edge Festival July 3rd in Birmingham. Rehearsals are going swimmingly, and our actors will be dabbling in the recreating the tradition of the grandmothers of the Jeju Island.
